Margo F. Souza Entrepreneur in Training Team Scholarship
This scholarship recognizes a team of students whose entrepreneurial effort worked to solve, launch, or create something new for the betterment of students and/or the community at large. Margo Souza will present the Entrepreneur in Training Team Scholarship recipient with a $3000 scholarship to be divided amongst the members.
To apply, all applicants must be in good academic and judicial standing with the university.
Note: Students who are recipients of this scholarship will need to meet with the Office of Financial aid to determine eligibility to receive additional aid in their financial aid package. If there is no space in their financial aid package to receive additional funds or replace loans, the student will be unable to receive the financial aspect of this scholarship.
Please answer all categories in 250 words or fewer. Nominations with answers of more than 250 words will not be considered.

- Explain why the nominated team deserves to be recognized with this award;
- Who or what did the project serve and what was the impact;

Scoring Rubric Summary: Possible 17 Total Points
Entrepreneurial Spirit (4 possible points): Nominated team demonstrates the entrepreneurial spirit which is an attitude and approach to thinking that actively seeks out change, rather than waiting to adapt to change. It's a mindset that embraces critical questioning, innovation, service and continuous improvement.
Design and Implementation of the Project (4 possible points): Application and supporting documents demonstrate a solid design, implementation plan. and execution of the project.
Innovative Thinking (4 possible points): Application and supporting documents demonstrate innovative thinking in the strategies and resources employed to make the project successful.
Project Sustainability (4 possible points): Application and supporting documents demonstrate thoughtful planning for project sustainability into the future.
