The UC Merced Carol Tomlinson-Keasey Leadership Award
The Carol Tomlinson-Keasey Leadership Award recognizes an undergraduate or graduate student graduating during the 2025–2026 academic year who has excelled academically and demonstrated outstanding leadership within their community. This award honors Academic Scholars who have influenced ideas and initiatives throughout their college career by taking meaningful action to create lasting and positive impacts on UC Merced and the greater Merced community.
Recipients of this award exemplify sustained leadership, initiative, and service, leaving a legacy that benefits future generations of scholars. Nominees must meet the academic requirement of a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate involvement across multiple areas of the UC Merced community.
Criteria to Consider
- The nominee has engaged in activities throughout their entire college career that have created a lasting positive impact on the UC Merced community.
- The nominee has been involved in multiple capacities within the UC Merced community.
- The nominee must be graduating during the 2025–2026 academic year.
- The nominee must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
