The annual UC Merced Student Leadership Awards Ceremony is an opportunity to honor UC Merced students for their commitment to leadership both on- and off-campus. The Margo F. Souza Student Leadership Center recognizes outstanding student leaders for their efforts, contributions, and honors their long-lasting impact to creating social change at UC Merced. Nominations for the 2025 Leadership Awards will open in Fall 2024.

The Souza Leadership Center offers monthly #LeadershipLesson workshops for all UCM students. These workshops serve as an opportunity for students to engage in leadership development and elevate their current leadership skills in a one-time 2-hour workshop facilitated by the Souza Leadership Team.
