2025 Student Leadership Week

National Student Leadership Week 

April 21 - 25, 2025

The Margo F. Souza Student Leadership Center is happy to announce this year's National Student Leadership Week at UC Merced is packed with more opportunities and events than ever!  We have incorporated a Stamp Card process which will allow students to "cash in" their attendance for one of a kind and limited swag items! All our events will fall under at least one of the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership (Posner & Kouzes) which are:  
 

1. Model the Way - Lead by example and according to your values.

2. Inspire a Shared Vision - Uniting a team's vision and end goal to align with the groups values.

3. Challenge the Process - Inspire innovation and encourage risk taking to ensure efficiency and relevancy of the group.

4. Enable Other to Act - Pass the baton! Understand all members of the team need training and mentorship to continue the mission! 

5. Encourage the Heart - Recognize team members' contributions in an intentional and punctual manner.
