Student Advisory Board
The Margo F. Souza Student Leadership Center's Student Advisory Board is a group of student leaders committed to making our leadership programs more student-focused. Members meet once a month to give feedback, brainstorm ideas, and help with major events like the UC Merced Student Leadership Conference, Leadership Week, and Leadership Awards.
Role
- Give input on programs and initiatives.
- Encourage leadership engagement among students.
- Celebrate and elevate students’ leadership journeys.
- Lead or contribute to self-driven projects.
Responsibilities
- Attend 1-hour monthly meetings.
- Do small tasks outside meetings.
- Bring in ideas and opportunities from your own networks.
- Brainstorm themes and topics relevant to students.
- Represent diverse student backgrounds and build community.
- Share your leadership experiences and perspectives.
